Lemon Essential Oil

Tropical Air Soap
Ingredients:
4 oz Coconut Oil
- 4 oz Palm Oil
- 8 oz Palm Kernel Oil
- 1 oz Mango Butter
- 2.25 oz lye (sodium hydroxide)
- 7 ounces water
At trace:
- 1-tablespoon blood orange essential oil
- 1-tablespoon lemon essential oil
- 2 teaspoons jasmine essential oil
- 1 Tablespoon dried, ground lemon peel
Mix lye into water and cool to 105 degrees. Heat carrier oils and mango butter until mango butter is melted and temperatures reach 105 degrees. Pour lye/water mix into oils and bring to trace. At trace, add blend of essential oils and lemon peel. Stir well to assure orange peel is evenly distributed. Pour into molds, cover and let sit undisturbed for 24 hours. Remove from molds and cure 3-4 weeks.
Arabian Nights Soap
- 30 oz olive oil
- 10 oz palm oil
- 10 oz coconut oil
- 16 oz distilled water
- 7 oz lye
At trace:
- 2 oz lemon essential oil
- 1-tablespoon frankincense essential oil
- 1-tablespoon sandalwood essential oil
Pour lye into water and cool to 110 degrees. Heat carrier oils to 110 degrees, turn off the heat, but keep stirring until solid oils are melted. Pour lye/water mixture into oils. Bring to trace and add the essential oils. Pour into mold, cover and let sit undisturbed for 24 hours. Remove from mold, slice and cure for four weeks.
Sunshine Soap
- 8 oz Coconut Oil
- 8 oz Palm Oil
- 8 oz Palm Kernel Oil
- 2 oz Shea Butter
- 4.5 oz lye (sodium hydroxide
- 14 oz distilled water
At trace:
- 1-tablspoon lemon essential oil
- 1-tablespoon tangerine essential oil
- 1-tablespoon pink grapefruit essential oil
- 1-tablespoon lime essential oil
- 2-teaspoons rosemary essential oil
Mix lye into water and cool to 110 degrees. Heat carrier oils and shea butter to 110 degrees. Pour lye/water mixture into oils. Bring to trace and add the essential oils. Pour into mold, cover and let sit undisturbed for 24 hours. Remove from mold and cure for 3 weeks.
Room Freshener
- 10 drops lemon essential oil
- 10 drops lavender French essential oil
- ½-cup water
Mix in spray bottle. Shake well before each use.
