High or Low pH Dye? Which do I need?

LabColor Soap Dyes are categorized according to usage.

• Low pH Dyes are suitable for lotions, creams, or Melt and Pour soaps which have a pH under 7.
• High pH Dyes are suitable for any soaping method that uses Lye, such as Cold Process soaps.
• Basic 12 Colors are suitable for BOTH high and low pH soap making.
