Clary Sage Essential Oil

Ache Easer Soap
- 4 oz jojoba oil
- 8 oz olive oil
- 2.4 oz coconut oil, 76 degree
- 1.6 oz cocoa butter
- 1.9 oz lye
- 6.08 oz water
At trace:
- 1 oz wintergreen essential oil
- ¼ oz clary sage essential oil
Pour lye into water. Cool to 125 degrees Heat oils to 125 degrees. Pour lye/water mix into oils. Bring to trace. Add essential oils. Pour into mold, cover and let sit for 24 hours. Remove from mold and cure 3-4 weeks. This makes a 1 pound batch of soap. Use this when your muscles are sore and achy.
Mature Skin Soap
For relief of hot flashes and to moisturize the skin
- 5 oz coconut oil
- 5 oz corn oil
- 6 oz olive oil
- 2.29 oz lye
- 6 oz water
At trace:
- ¼ oz clary sage essential oil
- ¼ oz geranium essential oil
- ¼ oz palmarosa essential oil
Pour lye into water. Cool to 125 degrees Heat oils to 125 degrees. Pour lye/water mix into oils. Bring to trace. Add essential oils. Pour into mold, cover and let sit for 24 hours. Remove from mold and cure 3-4 weeks. This makes a 1-pound batch of soap.
Melt and Pour Poison Ivy Relief
- 2 lbs melt and pour soap base
- 2 tablespoons camphor oil
- 1 teaspoon clary sage oil
Melt soap base as usual. Let cool slightly. Add camphor and clary sage oils. Pour into molds. Spritz with rubbing alcohol. Let sit 4 hours before removing from molds.
Love Potion Massage Oil
- 1 oz sweet apricot oil
- 1 oz jojoba oil
- 8 drops clary sage essential oil
- 8 drops ginger essential oil
- 5 drops rose geranium essential oil
- 4 drops patchouli essential oil
Blend all the oils together in an amber bottle. Before using, warm the bottle between your hands for five minutes. This will add your essence to the love potion. Rub it on someone you love.
