Avocado Oil
Avocado oil is pressed from the fruit of Avocado. Unlike most oils it is pressed from the pulp of the Avocado fruit. Along with being an edible oil it is also used as a carrier oil. In cosmetics it is valued because of its regenerative and moisturizing properties. It is mostly manufactured in Australia and New Zealand.
It is rich in monounsaturated fats and Vitamin A, B1, B2, D, E. in is very suitable for dry skin conditions. It does not completely dissolve into the skin and leaves a sticky, waxy feel on the skin. It is slightly thicker than most carrier oils and has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.
